Company Background
CivilArts was founded in Colorado in 1994 to create a multi-disciplined civil engineering firm that caters to a wide range of clientele. The firm has grown steadily over the years under the direction of Frank N. Drexel and co-founder, Daniel K. Pohly.
The firm got its start as a progressive land surveying company and was known as Albers, Drexel & Pohly when Frank N. Drexel joined the firm as a principal and its President in 1996. By 2003, with the company providing civil engineering and planning services, our name was changed to CivilArts–Drexel Group. In 2007 the company adopted CivilArts as its trade name as a reflection of the idea that civil design is truly an art form.
With the addition of Roger Walker, a nationally recognized development consultant and engineer, in 2002 and sustainable design expertise in 2005, CivilArts is now positioned as the engineering firm of choice for Colorado developers.
While tapping into Colorado's exceptional pool of engineering talent, the team has been able to build a versatile engineering firm with a reputation for delivering innovative development solutions to a growing list of clients along the Front Range. CivilArts' staff of professionals is the core of our success to this day.
